Sunday
10am: Woke up & got ready to go church with Ber. It was freaking cold. 0 degrees & my ears were almost numbed & was painful. The wind was so strong, blowing at the direction that i was walking against & it felt as if i could be blown away. Ber was walking so fast & i had to catch up. *pants

12pm: Church service ended. It was quite an experience at a Catholic church in a western country. The church is kinda beautiful & i was observing the people..haha. Went to Country Style (a fast food restaurant that Chris is working at) for free lunch. Had a club sandwich, some donuts, hot chocolate & chicken soup.

2pm: Ber told me that my mum sent me an sms, asking me to call her now. I was kinda stunned. Huh..isn't it 2am in S'pore? How could my mum be awake at this hour? My heart sorta thump faster..don't tell me something happen in S'pore? I called her immediately & was surprised that she was really awake. I asked why wasn't she sleeping. She said 'Something happened!' I stared at Ber with my eyes wide open, when i repeated loudly 'something happen in S'pore?'....Ber looked at me anxiously. My mum said that my young aunt was beaten up by my uncle (her hubby). Ber & i were furious.. What??? She related the story to me & i listened. Idiotic man! I despise man who lay hands on women. Ber said that if he was in S'pore, he would hit our Uncle back. Fcuk. This wasn't the first time he did that to my aunt. He is crazy! Please divorce sucha man my gosh! He almost took a rock & hit her head! Fcuker!!!!! Ber & i hated this..hearing 'not-so-good news' when we are far away from our hometown. We hate to receive sudden phone calls, it kinda frightened us. Will call back home again to ask for her well-being.

4pm: Reached Dundas (shopper's heartland). Went to town to collect Ber tuxedo suit & we headed down to Spadina (Chinatown). Its a bustling town & the chinese food seemed delicious. Took some photos. Scroll down. Went searching for matteress but couldnt find one.

7pm: We went to a 'Dim Sum' restaurant & the food was satisfying. Better than the dim sum in S'pore. After that, we bought bubble tea for desserts. Laughs. I don't know why, but i crave for bubble tea here & so does Ber. The bubble tea here is comparable to s'pore but expensive. I was delighted to have a cup today. Maybe it makes me feel that i'm home. *grins. The sky appears to be bright though it was already 8pm. It's weird here..sun sets really late & though its suppose to be summer..its about 0 degrees. I'm wearing thick jackets everyday. My skin is like a prune. I'm serious, the weather here is too dry cos its cold & you'll need to slather lotsa moisturiser before you go out. Leaving home w/o a lip balm would kill & if you forget to put on face moisturiser, your face will crack. That's how bad it is.
