[Stella's daily confessions. I dare to confess, i love to express & i live to impress] ============================================================

It has been 6 days i'm in Toronto. U know, i don't really feel as if im on a holiday because usually when i go for holidays, i rarely take their transport or being driven around in a car. It's usually big coaches. This time was like in Melbourne, i had to take trains/trams to the town etc & its kinda fun. So free & easy.

The food here is good (either chinese, western or korean). That day after shopping at Dundas(thurs), we went to a town called 'Korean town' & had hot pot. It cost only $9bucks per person & there was a variety of food that filled my stomach. Food here is not expensive because they usually come in big portions & i have to share.

Subway & buses cost CAD2 (travel to any station per trip) & they are a little like S'pore MRT but more confusing. Every Sun, we can buy a family pass for $8 & travel to anywhere in a day (no matter how many stops or how far). That was why we went lotsa places today to make money worth. I will be going to the coin laundry alone tomorrow. Cost about CAD 2 to use the washing machine & 25 cents for the dryer. Laughs. It will be a cool experience.

Each time when i move around, i tried to be observant to learn the routes so that i would'nt get lost. I'm learning pretty fast. And i get to meet interesting people here. Sometimes will just end up in a conversation..I'm fine, quite friendly to people here. Jus smile & talk to them, unless they look really scary. I met few of Ber friends from S'pore, malaysia, china & taiwan. They are all kinda friendly as well. I realized american english is no doubt easier to understand than australian becos australians have accents. I have no difficulties catching what they say here.

Canadians like donuts & coffee. Everywhere u go, u will see places selling donuts & coffee..whereas in Aussie, people like fish & chips. laughs..i dont understand why! its kinda cute of a culture like that. i'm dying to migrate. hopefully after my teachin..I jus love to have a different experience of life though S'pore is one great country i have to admit. Father..thank you for all the wonderful experiences i have gone thru for the past 6 days. It indeed made me forget about my sickness. I hope it would be a fruitful & memorable trip for me & i pray for the safety of everyone including my family in S'pore. Amen.
